Lahore Electric Supply Company is one of the oldest and trusted electricity providers in Pakistan. The company was handled by different private & public sector organizations under the WAPDA Act. But when the monopoly of privatization ended, it enabled LESCO to create its own identity to complete commercialization.

3 Major Components of LESCO Bill
1. Reference No
At the top left corner of your bill, a 14 digit reference number is located. Below, the picture also highlights a red rectangle. While it ends with U or R, U refers to Urban & R to Rural areas connections.
2. Customer ID
It is a specific registration number for each connection. As you see in the picture below, the red rectangle shows the ID, which contains seven numeric digits forward to the reference number. Also, this ID is helpful if you cant generate your bill through a reference number you can use it.
3. Meter Number
Right next to a Customer ID, a Meter Number is written that has a unique Alpha Numeric sequence like (S-1736405), etc. This number verifies that you are the only consumer of the Meter. The Meter installed outside your home has physically written the number to match with your Wapda LESCO Bill.

Note: If there is an error, you can use the Customer ID to view your latest bill online.
How to Download Previous duplicate bills?
To print out your old duplicate bill, follow these steps:
- Locate the Reference Number of the previous statement.
- Now Enter 14 digits in the box.
- Your Previous Bill is generated.
- Download it on your device.
LESCO SMS/Email Service
LESCO launched free of cost SMS service to facilitate its valuable customers about electricity supply, billing information, and latest updates.
If you want to register for this service, follow these steps to fill up the registration form:
- Click on the LINK.
- Select “SMS Only.”
- Then, enter your Customer ID & Mobile Number.
- You can add your email (optional).
- Click on “Submit.”
- You will receive a confirmation notification.
